As a gay Republican… I definitely feel more ostracized by the gay community than by my fellow Conservative friends. Many Liberals, while they claim to be tolerant are the only ones who have attacked me personally, degrading my beliefs by saying things like, “being a gay Republican is like being a Jewish Nazi”. You can preach tolerance and acceptance all you want, but when in reality you insult people who think differently than you, you are NO BETTER than the thing you claim to hate. You are all a bunch of closed-minded hypocrites. For such a “tolerant” community, you should all be well aware: I didn’t choose my sexuality, but I choose my values. You need to accept my choices. I was born gay; I wasn’t born a Democrat.

My friend took this at Sky Meadows State Park in Delaphlane, VA. We went on a nice brisk hike, and got an amazing view of the mountains. She took this while I was admiring the view :)
